HE'S HERE FINALLY!!!
When Erin wakes up from her nap we'll finally post a picture of the handsome Jacob Lane Gerlt. But for now I thought I would let everyone know that Jake is finally home with us. HOORAY!!!! Here's all the stats.
- 7 lbs. 12 oz.
- 20 1/2 inches long
- born at 7:00 AM (on the dot) on September 3rd.
- Handsome as a devil.

WOOHOO. I have been on your blog today roughly 1,643 times. :) I'm dying to see a picture. Erin, miss you and praying for you. Left you a long cell message. Call me whenever. I love you and Jake and your whole precious family!!
Oh, come on, Chad! Post a pic already. You can even show a pic of him sleeping, I just gotta see this kid.. I'm dying. Ask Dustin. I've talked about Jake non-stop for the last 2 days. "Oh, Jake is here!" "Think they're home yet?" "I wonder is she's posted," "Can I call Erin even though it's 6am there time," ("No, dear") You get the picture....
I'm extremely happy for you guys. How good the Lord is!! Every birth is a tremendous picture of God's mercy. I remember when Mikayla first appeared and the moment I heard her cry. so priceless. We rejoice with you!!
God is so good! Praise Him for a safe delivery and a healthy baby Jake and mommy!

I'll never forget the birth of my son...hearing that cry for the very first time! Children truly are a blessing from God!
