Handmade Christmas

The kids have worked hard decorating our home for Christmas. We have had so much fun! Here are are few pictures of their handi-work...

Here's our little tree-

We made paper lanterns and dough ornaments-

Stockings made from thrifted corduroy and wool coats-

Our Nativity made from a clementine box and a popsicle stick manger. Yes, there are four Baby Jesus babies in there. And that's Mary in the green. Our neighbors, Kayla and Chloe came over and helped. They plan is to make each baby Jesus a manger of his own-

And finally, Max's interpretation of Santa. Medium: Poster paint on typing paper-

It's the most wonderful tiiiiiiiiime of the yeeeeeeeeeeeeear!

MERRY CHRISTMAS sweet Erin and family!!!

You are an amazing Mom, Daughter, Wife, Godly Christian woman, (and YaYa). You inspire me to be a better person. I love seeing how you all have made such a beautiful tree with all the ornaments. How special this Christmas will be to your kids....the wonderful memories you are making will be treasures to them in years to come. The manger scene is wonderful....The SNOW looks like FUN....but.. mighty COLD. Enjoy these days because...TEXAS will always be here with its WARM SUN SHINE and "changable" weather to welcome you home. Home is where the heart is and your heart is beatiful and glowing with love for your family.

Love you and Miss you!!!!

Happy Holidays,
Sandra Y.

FUN! I bet it will be nice to just get rid of all your christmas stuff instead of storing it up for next time, or maybe you will box all this up to add with all the other but I bet it's nice to take a break from the "stuff" of Christmas and reinvent the holiday. EIther way, we wish we were there or you were here....but we love you!

I love the homemade stuff - it makes me want to get rid of my store bought stuff and start over!
