Very Christmas, Everybody!

We put up our trees tonight and started the season with dinner next to the tree and Rudolph the Red-Noses Reindeer. Jake kept saying over and over, "Very Christmas, everybody!"

This is a test.

Testing, testing, 1,2,3
Might I blog more if I can do this from my phone? It's possible. I love technology. (yes, I realize I'm late catching the mobile blogging boat.)
Here's a test picture, too. CrossFit kids are pretty dang cute.

This made us pee in our pants a little bit.

Erin and the kids are currently learning about the Persians. No lie.

My Girl and a Chicken

How can you not just love this picture. It is the girl of my dreams holding the thing that will pay for our kids to go to college.

Hooray Erin!

Hooray chickens!

How our family has changed!

Okay, so since the last time one of us blogged we have had a few major life changing events. Erin and I have both discovered facebook, and we've totally neglected this blog here. But as I looked back upon this blog I realized what a great record of how our family has changed. The best stuff is clearly the pictures, videos, and even recordings. e.i. three year old Anna Kate singing "My Jesus, I love thee...". Priceless.

So, here is baby Macy. Just for the record books.

And here is a picture of Jake with the cow outside of the dedication dinner for the opening or our new Chick-fil-A. Mustangs are in the background because the theme was "all roads lead to chicken" (thank you Kerrie Carter). By the way, Route 66 runs right through Yukon.

The Last Day of Being Two

Today, I'm savoring Jake's last day to be two. I'm loving every bit of his two-ness. From the way he carries a car in each hand everywhere he goes all the way to how he prefers to go potty outside in the grass. He's so much fun!
Tomorrow he'll be three. Wow. I could just get way too sentimental about it all. The time just flies by, doesn't it?
This has been such a fun year with him and I can't wait to see what the next year holds.

Little Growing Girl

Because I've had sort of a rough pregnancy history, my doctor has been wonderful and done lots of ultrasounds. He said, "I realize that I have this machine and I can put Moms at ease and give them peace of mind just by showing them a little glimpse of their baby." He's the best.
So here are the pictures of our girl so far. She's grown a lot! I go back to the perinatologist on July 30th, so we'll have more then!
